Send-off series friendlies announced

The Azerbaijan game is set to take place in Palo Alto, Calif., on May 27. The Turkey game will happen in Harrison, N.J., at Red Bull Arena on June 1. And the Nigeria game will take place in Jacksonville, Fla., on June 7.

I like the list of teams and the order they are to be played. Start with a weaker team and build the competition with Turkey and Nigeria to give Klinsie a hard final look at a few players and get the others match ready.

Looks like we are making the USSR rounds. Played Russia a year ago, just played Ukraine, and now playing Azerbaijan. BTW on the US facebook page it says that game will be at Candlestick

We played Latvia, Morocco and Venezuela in '06. I think this is an upgrade.
