how old are you? were you alive or watching soccer from '98 - '06? I don't understand your logic at all.

The closest player in the last few years to Zidane was Yaya Toure. Say what you want about his work rate, but when Yaya was up for a game, there isn't a midfielder who could hold his jock. That's what Zizou was every, single, game.

This is patently false.

The only two who aren't debatable for me are Maradona and Maldini.

Agreed. He is too good, just used a criteria of retired players.

Ronaldo is like Ken Griffey, Jr. If he wasn't injured, he would have been the GOAT.

you could make this argument for Ronaldo or Van Basten. i mean both won the Ballon d'Or multiple times.

There´s a musty, old jock in Russia which both can´t hold.

Don't invoke Igor Akinfeev's name in this thread, Dandy. The women and children are still awake.

Funny how the perception of Pogba is drastically different to Zidane's in the social media era, really isn't that much difference between the two and I'd wager once Pogba's career is over there will be very little to seperate the two and preference of one over the other will just depend on how old you are.

Not sure if serious.

He´s still mentally volatile, and has yet to play with a great side.
