Apparently Kreis and Klinsmann have really hit it off. Supposedly Klinsmann will have a significant voice in the selection of the manager to succeed him and I would not be surprised in the slightest if, should he prove successful in Orlando, the next USMNT manager is Kreis.

Interesting

On other notes:

Pirlo displayed class by stepping out of the procession to greet Kreis.

The crowd sounded raucous.

"VILLA YOU SUCK" after his goal was funny.

What a monsoon that was at the opening kickoff.

Those tracking vests really do look like sports bras.

I wonder if Pirlo requested Kaka's shirt or vice versa?

As someone a few years younger than him that watched him when he played with the Baton Rouge Jags, I would love this!

Is Kreis the best player to ever come out of LA?

I don't know much about him as a manager, but it'd be cool to have a LA native as manager of the USMNT.

Because it has been expedient to do so given team's stadium situations, as well as more feasible for teams that play in colder climates (which also occurs in Europe)

Teams in Scandinavia and Russia also use synthetic fields. There are reasons for it.

I love how New York edited out the two goals scored against them, and the fact that they lost that game.

Yes, I noticed those omissions as well. To be fair, I suppose these BTS videos have a different purpose. I looked at the videos on NYCFC's channel and they do have match highlights that show the good and the bad.

A friend of mine informed me that Klinsmann was in Orlando for the match so I just checked for a video. I saw a BTS shoot of the match by NYCFC so I gave it a look and, sure enough, there was Klinsmann.

It's an "L" for Left Foot Studios. His company or something.
