- 4 straight wins, 3 in qualifying
- Combined score of 3 hex victories was 5-1
- Jozy with 4 goals in 4 straight games.

These are just a few of the stats about our recent form (left out Belgium loss for obvious reasons).

How does our current form and run of games in June compare to that of past U.S. teams? Most of y'all have more knowledge of past teams than I, but I would say '02 WC team is the best.

I am by no means crowning our team as GOAT but I just want to get an idea of where they stand compared to past U.S. squads.

I don't really know how the competition compares to past years but the US may put up their best Hex record evar.

Results 9/10

form in run of play 7.5/10

We have really started to jell as a unit. Our midfield and forwards are playing great together and the back 4 made significant, noticeable improvements in chemistry over this campaign. 1 year till Brazil and this is what we are working with at the moment? I'll take it gladly.

It's good, but let's put this into context.

We beat a German B team, Panama, and a Honduran team in turmoil at home.

We beat a last-place Jamaican team on the road.

We are looking good, but I would like to see stronger ability to create chances and us maintain more possession.

Team is clicking though.

We've got a fun summer to look forward to in a year.

I really only pay attention during qualifying and the WC but i notice that we are so much more polished when attacking than in the past. We have so many one touch passes and through balls which bring all of the attackers into play.

We used to send long balls down field and hope or let one guy try to make a run on his own. I feel like we are closer to a Euro team than we have every been. I guess that is thanks to JK.

Result wise, I give it a 9.

Rating play, I'd give it a 7 or 8 because, while it hasn't been perfect, the squad is creating chances instead of waiting for them to magically appear.

Rating masturbatability, I give it a Stu Holden.

I want to see more of this, though.

Not necessarily. He has inherited a young striker that is coming into his own. He has been the US Striker for some time and incredibly young. He killed it last WCQ cycle, too tho.

Jurgen has done some good and some bad. The good is using Evans, Zusi, Beasley. So far it's worked out.

We are winning the games we are supposed to win which is encouraging, but there's work to do yet. 7.0 Color me cautiously optimistic.

I can't wait for the Mexico game.

We're up there down, should make for an arse kicking.

The game isn't for a few months though who knows what could happen between now and then... We'll probably be even better.

If we are taking history into consideration.

Jozy scored 6 goals including 5 in the hex. Clint Dempsey had 5 goals. 1 goal in the hex.

In the third round we went 5 wins 1 loss and 6-2-2 in the hex.

Frankie Hejduk pulled one out of his arse in the 88th minute against El Salvador for a 2-2 draw.

Costa Rica Smashed our arse 3-1

Mexico scored a 82nd minute winner against us to win 2-1 in azteca

and Jonathan Bornstein scored a 94 minute goal to draw Costa Rica. 2-2

That is some of our results from last world cup cycle. Costa Rica went to playoff against Uruguay and lost 2-1 on agg. FYI

Also, I think Jozy has 3 goals in the Hex. 1 goal in the third round ?
