Exactly. What does this tell you? TACTICS! This is where Rafa would make an immediate impact.

Fair enough. This year's Liverpool team has made me like them less and less. I would have said they were my second favorite team but now they just make my eyes hurt.

Liverpool still have the best fans on TD (outside my TRUE BLUES). Shout out to Bleedpurple, sobeast and Xaviertiger!

Sorry Arsenologists (glassman and leauxgan). I wouldn't spit on you North London trash if you were on fire.

I think we play pretty attractive football outside the box (inside the box is ugly enough to make you cringe though). I don't think we are years from the top 4. We have played well enough against the good teams to prove that it's not the talent/roster that's the problem.

There was an article I read today, where Rafa wonders what he could have done with FSGs money...

I would loved to have him back and was among the ones who thought it was time for a change when he left...

Here it is LINK

Would Rafa go back to pool?

In a heart beat. No question about it.

Would pool ever take Rafa back?

Not sure. FSG might take off the sentimental glasses on this one and opt for someone else. I hope they would go with Rafa though.

Would the fans welcome Rafa back?

Absolutely. He's a legend.

I never thought he should have left in the first place. I saw right through that nightmare he was stuck with created by H&G.

If true, IF true, you are one of very few.

He is a great manager and was the best thing that ever happened to that club.

I got enormous amounts of shite for it from everyone I knew. Especially from fans from other clubs. The old More Sports Board tore me apart.

There was also an article on TIA last month about Rafa explaining how the previous ownership halted his "dream team". I just dont think many of us were privy to what was really going on behind the scenes.

To answer your questions, yes to all. He loves the city of Liverpool and is very active in the community. Throughout the struggles this season, he has refused to be openly critical of the manager and coaches despite numerous people baiting him to do so. He still has a ton of support from fans in Liverpool and I think many of the ones that wanted him gone at one point now realize that he was not the root of the problem. I'd welcome him back with open arms and could definitely see him succeeding sooner rather than later.

For several years, Rafa had the same problem. You cannot forget the CL, that's what great. You also have to look at the competition Rafa faced. It was the big four now it's the big 7.
