With the Copa and Olympics happening in the same time frame what will be deemed more important for the eligible kids in the senior squad; Morris, yedlin, brooks etc
We've got alot of attacking options in my opinion.
Morris(Seattle), Kieswetter(Stuttgart), Shelton(NYC), Rubio(Utrecht) and Tall (Sion)
Mid field is a question mark i think lot of talented players, but mostly on the smaller side.
Zealem(Arsenal), Hyndman(Fulham), Pulisic(Dortmund), Thompson(San Jose), Serna(Rapids), Trapp(Crew), Gill(Queretaro), Green(Bayern).
Then in Defense i think is where our strength is like in the U-17 WC we will be tough to score against.
Miazga(Chelsea), Brooks(Hertha), Yedlin(Spurs), CC-V(Spurs),Acosta(Dallas), Oneil(Royal- Peruwelz), Palmer-Brown(Porto).
Then in goal i think there are three good options. Believe Klinsman is really liking Horvath starting for a Europa team in Molde.
Cropper(Mk Dons), Horvath(Molde) and Zach Steffen(SC Frieburg).
Who will we use as overage players with the Copa going on? Really hope we make it feel like we can have a good showing if we avoid Neymar and Brazil in group stage.

Unprecedented number of US youth players at big time clubs around the world. Very exciting time going forward.

We have 7 players who are most likely going to be playing for champions league teams or at worst there reserve teams next year. Has to be some kinda record i would think. Yedlin may not make it at Spurs but as of now he is there CC-V could possibly be on the bench for Spurs next year. EPB i dont know what Portos CB situation is but he cant be that far off from getting some first team practice at least. Pulisic already starting/playin for Dortmund. Green mite be done at Bayern but once again valuable experience being in there system. Miazga is already on the bench for chelsea who is still in champions league at the moment.

We have to get past Colombia first. I'm not getting my hopes up for the time being. I got my dreams crushed when we didn't qualify in 2012. We curb stomped the gold medal winning Mexican team 2-0 with that team

I hope we send a strong team to play Colombia. I hate it that it's around the same time as WCQ.

I just saw there is a month in between copa and the olympics so there should be nothing holding young players back from going to both except injury

Each nation can pick three players born before 1993 and neymar has come out and said he wants to represent his home nation and win the olympics for them after the WC debacle. BUT Barcelona does not have to release players for the olympics but they do for the Copa. They dont want him worn out with no break for basically 4 years now WC, Copa,Centario and Olympics then another deep run in Champions league is alot of soccer.

I mean I get this from a business stand point, but I hate that they can tell someone you can't rep your country in the Olympics.

I'm not a big Neymar fan at all, but I mean you can tell he cares about Brazil and the image he sets.

I respect him for that.
