They are getting tax breaks that would of been earmarked for the City, so regardless of how you want to call it, the City is still funding these stadiums, just not flat out giving away cash in TIF/Bond form.

Worth going and the stadium is right downtown so it's not like you need to Uber out to the burbs. Tickets shouldn't be to expensive. Timbers Army seats are general admission.
