Zakuani scoring against Seattle would be funny.

I would be shocked if NOLA ever got an MLS team. No offense.

What percentage of MLS teams play on turf vs natural grass? I agree, watching soccer on turf is like eating pancakes without syrup.

Love the way this guy is refereeing the game. Soccer is better when guys are allowed to make hard, legal tackles, and when dives are not rewarded.

Only 4 of the 19 teams play on turf at this point.

New England plays on turf because they play at Gillette Stadium.

Portland opts to play on turf their stadium for whatever reason.

Seattle only plays on grass in special games in an agreement with the Seahawks.

Vancouver play in an enclosed arena where grass doesn't grow.

Portland, Seattle, Vancouver and New England. The PNW teams need to because of the rain...New England does because Kraft is a bitch.

I believe that Atlanta will play on turf as well when they start.

Yep...and it will be probably be as terrible as Seattle's and New England's. Portland's isn't bad because it's soccer only.

I know a lot of high schools here are converting their football/soccer fields to turf to cut cost.

My old HS in MO just did. Good for football...not so much for soccer.

That would be awesome. Is Yulman wide enough for MLS? Even so, we are probably 10 years away from next round of expansion.

Anybody else like Nagbe? I'd like to see him get some callous, but I really like his touch and how composed he is on the ball

The rain excuse is silly. Teams in Europe seem to do ok with rain and playing over the winter.
