Portland Trades Graye To Houston and Sign Kerrea Gilbert

Thought I would post this for the Portland supporters on here. Looks like a great signing in Gilbert and surprising he wasn't able to find a club in England. Also seems Portland is on a mission to stock pile as many draft picks as possible.

Gilbert is a decent RB, especially for the lower divisions, so maybe he had his sights set too high. He'll get regular games in the MLS I think.

I think it's probably good to get a guy who has spent a lot of time playing with an elite club. He's a flop, but he obviously has the advantage of spending so much time with elite players.

From what I have seen of him he appeared better suited for a mid to lower table Championship side then the Premier League. He shouldn't have a problem standing out in MLS, where it can be difficult for most clubs to find a decent fullback.
