This game is awesome if you're a Seattle fan.

Now why the hell did Portland think giving Liam Ridgewell, a former WBA defender, a DP deal was a good idea? Probably a worse DP deal than Ozzie Alonso.

I don't know if I've ever seen someone punished like this on the counter. Timbers have 57% possesion are out passing 78% to 67% have taken 4 more shots and are losing 4-1.

He's been worth it until today.

WTF happened to SKC's backline? Against DCU y'all looked like that time Arsenal tried to play a high line against Liverpool

I think it was a combination of Fabian Espindola and DC just being too efficient and a breakdown (mostly) on the right side of our defense. First goal, Espindola got the ball out wide and got by Collin way too easily. It was a good goal, but the defense gave him way too much space. Second goal, they simply beat the offside trap. The third goal was more or less the same. Sinovic, I think it was, was way deeper than the rest of the line but Collin and Juliao could be at fault for not making sure they were even with Sinovic. Too often last night I saw Collin (and sometimes Besler) get caught forward when Juliao and Sinovic were up too.

It reminded me of the game last year vs New York in KC, where we were 1st in the East and NY was 2nd, ironically. But, almost more ironic is the fact that Fabian Espindola started for New York that night, as well. Highlights: LINK That was a 3-2 game, but it just shows that when teams sit back at Sporting Park, they will have a couple opportunities per game to take advantage on their chances against the run of play.

I dunno man. They were gonna have today off if they played well, but I think it's safe to say they had training today.
