my favorite club is Stoke

Ok the "who the frick cares" questions applies to pretty much every team other than Stoke.

You can't be a Stoke fan unless you're from Stoke. Because that's just how it is. I mean, its Stoke.

First off, frick you.

Ok. I started this thread just to see how many of you guys were like me that don't have one club you follow exclusively. I didn't mean for it to come across like I'm questioning anyone's love for their team. But I guess I kind of did just that with my last post so my bad.

Everyone of us has a unique story of how we became fans. Because of the fact that soccer wasn't nearly as accessible in America years ago like it is today, it's obviously not engrained in our culture like it is in Europe or South America or wherever. It's sort of an advantage we have because we can follow the sport in whatever way we choose, rather than being handcuffed to a shitty club just because of where you and your family and friends grew up. Whether that means choosing a favorite team or having several, interchangeable favorites, we have that choice.

Its mainly the self righteous Liverpool fans on here who tend to be new Liverpool fans and try and act like the club was never a giant

I've been a Liverpool fan for 11 years, I know they were once a giant but that was before I was even born. Anyways, this is all i have to say

how many clubs have been to 2 champions league finals in the past 11 years?

how many clubs have won it all in that 11 years?

Our opponent in those finals for one. I understand what you mean, though. I guess I was speaking more in the sense that Liverpool was once the biggest (or close to) club on the planet back in the 80s. But it is definitely true that while we haven't won the league since I've been alive, playing for two CL titles in the past 11 years is nothing to scoff at either. Fair point

You're doing it wrong.

Didn't you know Liverpool is just a little mid-table club on the rise with a cool song?
