Zenit Burger King

quote:

Russian Premier League side Zenit St Petersburg received an offer from Burger King last week to change their name to Zenit Burger King, according to reports in Russia.

The American burger chain approached the club at the start of the week with offer of 500m roubles [£5.73m] to purchase the naming rights of the club, which also competes in this season’s Europa League, with Russian journalists getting hold of a letter allegedly sent to the club.

LMAO.

Zenit fans are hardcore. That shite would get the board of directors killed and dragged through the streets if it happens. Burger King logo would look pretty good on a jersey, though.

The King is so freaking creepy.

ETA: Speaking of burgers, I just went to this new place that opened up yesterday, and it was FIRE.

I clicked on this thread really hoping that the name would be Red Bull. This, however, is so much better.

I thought that long double burger, where the patties are not stacked but placed beside each other on long bun, was odd.

Haven't eaten at a Burger King in years. Place is fricking trash. I'd rather drink Gazprom oil.

What a cheap offer... That's not much money for changing your club name.

Finally, we agree on something, comrade.

The town I lived in when I was in HS had only three fast food places: Burger King, Hardee's and Church's Chicken. It was a nightmare.

I can't think of one decent item from there. It's all below average or worse.

The breakfast is solid, but their lunch and dinner options were too expensive for the quality, at least a few years ago.
