BR is gone. Good luck to him but let's move on and talk about the future of this club and the mass exodus of players that's about to happen not about our shitty manager we've all talked shite about for the last 2 years.

I have a feeling lallana, teke, Milner, skertel, lovern(thank god), and maybe even Sturidge might be playing for their spots these next couple games before the January transfer window bc it sounds like klopp wants his strikers back.

I don't think Teke and Studge are in immediate danger. We still have to be able to score. I think he will build from the back line forward.

Hopefully Ings stays in form, because I can see him being valuable to ANY team, not just us. His movement is first rate, as well as his energy.

Teke and Studge aren't going anywhere.

I think Milner and Skrtel will be, and I think Lovren is probably already gone, but Lallana, Teke, and Sturridge fit Klopps bill of preferred player. All 3 are young guys with good pace and I dont see them going anywhere in January.

But with klopp wanting lewandowski and aubameyang you still think he keeps teke and Sturridge? I mean I hope he keeps them but I have my doubts if he's already going after more strikers. I also do not see sturridge as a player that will play the wing. He's a striker not someone that plays on the wing.

I guess we have to wait until Saturday and see what formation klopp uses

I think Milner has a place in this team, but not as a CM. I think he can do a job on the right wing.

I don't see Benteke as a Klopp type striker... way too lazy... But given we just forked out a ton of cash for him, I don't see him going anywhere.

Studge has too much quality to get rid of...

I cant imagine a situation where Bayern sells us Lewandowski..

Skrtel, Lucas and Lovren should all be shipped out..

I don't think Lallana fits his profile.. He has no stamina to press.. but he was another expensive buy and could be used as a squad player (I don't think hes on too high of wages), I guess...

It'll be interesting to see how it all shakes out and who makes the cut.. I think they'll all be given the rest of the season to prove their worth.

Haha do you really think we land Lewandowski? I would absolutely love to have him, but I do not see us landing him. Too many other higher bidders involved there.

I'd put our chances at getting Bobby around 0%.

Lallana is good pressing I think and would fit perfectly in Klopp's preferred 4-2-3-1 with a narrow 3 behind the striker. Yes he will probably have to be subbed out most games, but I think a lot of our players are gonna struggle fitness wise to meet what Klopp will want.

I'm curious to see how he uses a lot of our guys though and how he adapts to fit the players we already have. I think Lovren's definitely on his way out. Skrtel could be too in the near future. Lucas would've been very good in midfield but for now I think he'll still be ok in spot starts because his legs won't last him. I can see Firmino being a perfect fit for his number 10 role but does that mean Coutinho will play slightly wider or would he try to play him deeper? There's definitely it's a lot of flexibility but we also need a lot of guys to truly buy in to what he's trying to do, or they'll be the first ones out

I mean if Sterling went for 49 mill pounds, what do you think Lewandowski will go for? Haha And I dont see Klopp screwing over BVB by taking Aubameyang. I think he has too much respect for the club and management to take their best striker.

I disagree.. I don't think he has the quality to press and then transition quickly on the counter.. he's kinda slow and has no stamina.. He already kills off attacks with his twisting and turning and lingering on the ball too long...

Don't get me wrong.. I think he does have quality and think he's useful.. I just don't think he's good enough long term (he may have to do this season).

He does have the tendency to slow things down too much, but I think he can play quicker when we win the ball higher up. I know he's not gonna get the ball at the halfway line and make a great sprint at goal, but to be fair, the only person we have now that can is probably Sturridge. I just think Lallana guys in a narrow midfield just behind the striker playing one twos and interchanging potentially with guys like Firmino and Coutinho

Which also leads me to say I think Markovic could be a good fit for Klopp not being pushed out as far wide and getting a chance to run at players on the counter.

Ilori could potentially be a good fit for the high line too. Both he and Gomez could thrive, but we'll see.

Saw Gomez went down with an ankle (possibly knee) injury in England's U21 match. Hopefully it's not too serious

That sucks for Gomez... I'd like to see Ilori get a chance, as well. Doesn't AV have the option to buy? I guess he'd have to want to go, too.

I think everyone will get a shot and all these young guys have to be excited.

They do but there has to be a clause for us to opt out.

I'm not going to count Milner out.

His pressing, if utilized correctly could be a revelation in this system.

I'm going to give everyone a shot.

Lucas, Lovren and Skrtel are almost surely done though.

I certainly don't, but I just don't know where he fits. His versatility and energy definitely puts him into the equation though I think. I'm not convinced that Klopp doesn't try a 4-4-2 diamond or something like that either because he could fit it to his scheme easy and our personnel right now fits that.

I'm not counting out Lucas fully either. I don't think he he a huge role or future, but we have a manager now that does actually believe more in a DM than Brendan, and he's our only true one in the squad not counting Can. I think he'll be replaced soon but I don't think a combo of Lucas/Can would be a bad transition until we get someone better or if Can makes that role his.

Can

Is the one Im most curious to see how he fits into Klopps plan. Hes a hard working mofo, and is German, so I would have to think he will be a nice piece for Klopp to use. He was one of the few guys that no matter the score or situation, particularly when we were getting trounced, he was going all out and busting arse. I got to think he takes a step forward with a solid manager.
