I'd love a salty Bavarian defender to accompany Sahko.
I like Skrtel and everything he has given us, but he just isn't quite the quality a top side needs. Love to have him in the squad but don't think he should be a lock on the team sheet like he has been the last 2-3 seasons.

Totally agree there. He still has too many "WTF?!" moments. And get Can off of the back line also.

Fricking THIS. I love Skrtel, but you are exactly right. Takes too many chances. Granted, it very well could only look that way if you think about the lack of quality we have had at CB around him for the last few seasons.

He's great to have around for injuries, cup games and europe, but I don't think he's 1st choice.
he's only had about a season or two where he was legit 1st choice quality and he still was relatively prone to errors those years.

His clearances and tackles scare the ever living shite out of me! Its either really good or really bad. I want someone even keel who makes sound plays and doesnt gamble or take unnecessary risks at inopportune times.

Reus plays in one of the 3 attacking MF roles... A lot of times on the left, but he played on the right a lot at BM...
I'd hate to see Sturridge on the wing... He's a CF.. It would be nice to have depth and make Benteke or Studge step up and claim the #1 CF role.. If healthy, I'd say Danny...

I agree man, but I can't see not playing our primary summer signing, especially considering Bentekke was a guy Klopp chased two years ago. Plus, we've already seen Studge play in that same support role for Suarez 13/14.

I haven't been this excited about a team I cheer for before. I mean, my Astros had a HUGE turnaround, but good grief... I am beyond happy about this. We better be all over the damn T.V. coverage here in the states with a big name like that now. I have only been able to catch three games so far this year.
