To be fair, a LOT of them were right at him. He still had some nice saves though. You could make a goalkeeping highlights video from all of the world class saves we've seen go against Liverpool from the past few years.

All I can find is it will be the week of Feb 2nd... so that sandwiches it between West ham and Everton..
The Borini and Coutinho saves were his best... maybe the Hendo one, but he had a long look at that one..

Could be worse, I suppose. Just sucks knowing that we're pretty much guaranteed to drop points against one or both of those teams because we have a stupid rematch against Bolton. At least we're not completely out of the FA Cup though.
I'm probably being too much of a pessimist right now.

I am holding out hope that Stu comes back healthy and the player we all know him to be, more importantly I hope that he can pair with Balo and storm down the stretch. Mario needs to play off someone...... I'm trying to be optimistic here. I've liked what Ive seen from Can and recently Lazar and there have been times when Lallana is our best player on the pitch. I have no explanation for Lovren looking like a completely different player from last year. The recent turn in form has buoyed my optimism that our new additions might actually work out, this is a hell of a lot better than how I felt a month or so ago.

Tony Barrett says Sturridge's unlikely to make the bench tomorrow. I was hopeful but figured it was ambitious since he just started full training yesterday, but would've been nice to get him 15-20 minutes.
I'd still be pleased for him to get an appearance this weekend.
