Shakhtar for sure love the talent they have. And I also follow Monaco but that doesn't really count as non top league... Celtic too

Yeah, I've taught a unit operations class at DTU the past couple years. I didn't get to go to any games the first year (because I didn't know they existed until I heard soccer cheers while walking from my office to my room one night). Did some research and saw that they were in the 1st division and followed the results that season. They wound up winning the league and getting promoted to the Superliga. Last year I got to attend their first home game as a part of the top flight (not sure if that's ever or just in a really long time). It was awesome (wound up a 2-2 draw with OB as Jeppe Kjær missed a late pk that would've given Lyngby the win and him a hat trick), and I can't wait to go back in July.

Nottingham Forest. Just cause I spent 2 months in Nottingham one summer in college, lived with a family who were big supporters, and went to a game.

DC United because its my local team. CA Penarol because I studied abroad in Uruguay and my host mother once told me that she wouldn't feed me if I didnt root for Penarol. However, its become a bit harder to follow Penarol these days with Rojadirecta going offline.

I like to keep up with Ajax. But I only watch the CL or Europa games. Eredivisie used to come on TV a long time ago. Hadn't seen it in a while.

It's on bein every now and then. The games I've watched it seems like a cutthroat league. Shady tactics seem to be commonplace

They just announced my daughter's club will come under the umbrella of No. Carolina FC / Carolina Courage so I think the kids will be more interested. I'm probably more likely to take them to a NASL or Women's game now and because she is now a "member" of the club we get discounts and first chance at tickets.

Not a top league, but better than what most proffer up here as the next level in European football.

I still don´t think Russian football is markedly superior, but I do agree it´s got much better.

Portugal is and isn't a top league. It's three teams that are CL/EL quality playing very shite clubs. Contrast with Russia, where they have at least one CL-quality team and several EL quality teams.

On Topic:
Shakhtar and Dynamo Kiev from Ukraine
Rijeka and Dinamo Zagreb from Croatia
Sparta Prague and Viktoria Plzen from Czech Republic
All of those teams tend to be 1 and 2 in their respective countries with a very high win rate against the rest of their league, making mucho dinero when gambling.
