What I think an accurate reflection of today would be

Argentina
Germany
Belgium
Chile
France
Brazil
Spain
Netherlands
Columbia
Uruguay

What has been leaked
New FIFA Ranking top 10:
1 Argentina
2 Germany
3 Belgium
4 Colombia
5 Netherlands
6 Brazil
7 Portugal
8 Romania
9 England
10 Wales

Where do you see the US rising or falling to?

I understand these rankings mean diddly poo

Do friendlies have no impact on rankings? I assume not since we beat the #2 and #5 teams on their home turf.

According to FIFA

“A team’s total number of points over a four-year period is determined by adding:

The average number of points gained from matches during the past 12 months; and
The average number of points gained from matches older than 12 months (depreciates yearly).”

This is almost like predicting horse racing or some shite. How about we just give who we think the actual top 10 teams are?

I suspect we'll move up to the 22-25 area. Modest, at best.

For some reason I read somewhere, can't remember where, but that we would drop. I have no idea how that would happen, but whatever I guess.

Can someone explain Wales? This seems odd to me(in reference to the leaked version)

They've been tearing it up in Euro qualifying.

I'm pretty sure this is true but I may be wrong...helps explain importance of friendlies

Our win against Honduras last night was probably more meaningful than the Netherlands and Germany wins combined

If Chile isn't top 10 that's some real bullshite. Drop Uruguay and Brazil out.

I see that they will be 12th. Lame. The elo has always been a better ranking system.

Same here. I read somewhere that we'd actually be between 34-42, which is absolute BS, but whatever

Hasn't the top 10 already come out and/or been leaked?

Could've sworn I read somewhere that Wales is in the top 10.

Friendlies mean almost nothing. Germany was #1 fwiw.

World Cup qualifying, continent championships, and World Cup games multiply your points 2, 3, and 4Xs.

The US probably got more of a bump for beating Honduras in the Gold Cup than beating Germany.

The US dropped 7 spots.

Most World Cup matches are now more than a year in the past. So they have much less impact on the rankings.
