Revs seem to be improving, the Quakes are playing their second match on the road in four days and it's supposed to be really hot on the artificial turf in Foxboro.

I haven't been able to watch them play yet because of the time difference. I'm +9 hours from Pacific time so it makes it a little hard. Hopefully though

So I take it you won't be tuning in tonight at 10.

I wanted to until I saw the 4 a.m start

I'm trying to make the transition to MLS, with games like this it makes it hard though. It seems dry at times, and they make a lot of little mistakes you don't really see in the 1st league of any European leagues. The refs seem to let a lot more fly, which I think is good and bad at the same time. Any soccer is better then no soccer though

Right but you just kinda know that going in. There are still a lot of exciting matches.

I will say the refs can make some interesting calls (and I really try not to be a "blame the ref" guy).

No doubt on everything you said. I will say out of the teams I've seen I really like the way Dallas and SKC have played the games that I've seen. Galaxy looks good at times too. But to be fair I haven't seen the Timbers, Sounders, Real Salt lake etc play.

I'd say Dallas has impressed me the most with their style of play

Always more room in the SKC thread for more fans.

Do you guys think US soccer will ever catch up to the prestige of the top tier European leagues? I wouldn't mind if it took 10-15 years I'd like to see it happen eventually

As much as I dislike the Timbers, I will say that those three teams have three of the best fan bases, especially the Timbers and Sounders.

I tend to think it will be a lot longer than 10-15 years but who knows? I've been wrong before.

Eventually, MLS has made major strides, it's a slowly but surely type growth.
20-25 years is probably a more realistic expectation until MLS can contend with say, the top 5 leagues in Europe.

How did Gargan not get a red card? Pure frustration foul there.

Plenty of room here on the RSL bandwagon...

Been a fun game to watch, both teams with a bunch of chances to have a lot more goals then the 1 - 0 score
