Put some mustard on that sandwich and smash it down and you're in business

Mustard probably costs $10 on top of the $65 for the box lunch.

I'm shocked not so much at the quality of the food, but that they actually have to pay for the food... and pay a lot for it.

It’s a clown show

Guys in a league that doesn’t pay much compared to other first divisions and they even second divisions

Having to over pay for a shitty boxed lunch

You would think quality owners would be getting catering to meet performance needs

Update on MLS food situation: source says the boxed meals are the "room service" options for players who couldn't make it to the actual meals in the dining area. Also sounds like players aren't being asked to pay for it themselves. -T

No chance the players are the ones paying

Regardless, the menu doesn't match the product... not even close.

From Paul Tenorio

FWIW - The picture of the sandwich in Orlando is the in-room dining during the 12-hour quarantine period. Meals are covered by teams. Banquet meals are typical (I've heard positive things) and teams have options to dine in four on-site restaurants.

Idk, the paper Omar tweeted out literally says it’s for quarantining after arrival. People just getting worked up over nothing again. The clubs are going to have their own chefs after one day of boxed lunches, I’m sure they’ll be fine.

Classic overpromise, underdeliver bullshite room service food for the low, low price of your first born child. Not quite cheese sandwich in Saipan bad, though

Yeah it’s just ammo for the anti-MLS crowd
I’m sure they’re going to be just fine eating salmon and tuna steaks when their teams chefs arrive
