I know a former assistant for the USWNT who resigned just to not work underneath her because she's a terrible coach.

It's hilarious to me that Ellis insists on a 4-4-2, yet she continually (before W.C. also) put a 3rd forward (Press) in at mid. Why not make it simple and go with a 4-3-3?
Of course, with all this criticism (also coming from former coach Tony Decicco) it's almost certain she'll stick to her guns and keep doing the same thing. It seems very Les Miles-ish to me.

Swanson at Virgina, Waldrum with the Houston Dash and DiCicco are the three best options.
Krikorian at Florida St. wouldn't be a bad option either. All are great. Dorrance at UNC has a little baggage from some rumors about his time there.

Just on the surface I get the same feeling watching this team as I did Brazil last summer. Super talented expected to win but can't seem to put it together.
