To clarify: USMNT could’ve played Altidore, but could also have faced a fine & forfeited result in doing so, especially if opponent objects

And we all know Mexico would.

I really don't mind Evans, as far as the MLS pool is concerned he's versatile and dependable.

I'm more concerned with Yedlin, only because he finally debuted this weekend with Spurs and this isn't an international break. Spurs have a game Sunday and i would guess this would threaten him making the bench again since he's gonna be here all week.

Jordan Morris must be the most amazing practice player EVER.

The mexicans arn't known for their sportsmanship. Any Dos a Cero I assume anyone on the lineup can get injured at any time.

Is there a reason why we keep bringing in Rimando? He'll be 39 in 2018. He's short (5'10"). Are we using him as an extra coach for the young keepers? I just don't get it. At this point, I'd rather give some of the younger guys reps/caps.

I don't understand either, besides the fact he's been around for so long and was never able to really get a shot behind Keller and Timmy.
I think he must be a player favorite in the locker room.

I've met him. He *might* be 5-9. I'm 5-7, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least if he was, too.

There's a reason he's never gotten offers in Europe, for as good as he is. No coach is going to stick his neck out for a 5-7 goalkeeper.

That said, I'm sure the reason he's playing is that he's good enough to keep us in games, and Jurgen's not blind to the fact that if we were losing games 6-1 instead of 3-2, he's probably out of a job.

I was just going off what Google told me.

I think his boss would understand that we are using at best our #3 keeper (behind Howard and Guzan). Either way, I don't think Hamid is going to give up 6 goals to Mexico.

What does our lineup look like?

Tim
Yedlin Gonzo Besler Brek
Bradley Dreads
? Mix ?
Green

I'm just guessing? What would it look like?

No chance Green is up front alone. If it's anyone, it will be Agudelo. Green would be on the left.

If we go two strikers, which wouldn't surprise me with the names selected, then I would guess it would be Agudelo and Wondo.
