I enjoy Man Utd struggling mainly because of Bruno.

Where would they be in table without the every third week 90 minute winner or equalizer?

They would be 10th with 13 points. They’ve only had two games with +90min goals that changed the result.

Doucoure is making some world-class off the ball runs in this Everton v Brighton match.

Doku is a dawg, every city signing is a hit. It’s bs.

You can accuse Pep of spending a ton of money to buy the best team, but he definitely is the best at actually putting those piles of cash to use.

Kalvin Phillips and Mendy are the only two flops I can really remember at the moment. Danilo and Torres may be the only other two ‘meh’ big money signings.

I'd argue Mendy's on field production wasn't a flop.

Premier League:

17/18: 7 appearance (3 full matches)
18/19: 10 appearances (all 90’)
19/20: 19 appearances (12 full matches)
20/21: 13 appearances (7 full matches)
21/22: 1 appearance (0 full matches)
22/23: 1 appearance (court)

Bought for £57mil, left on a free.
Only played 90min 32 times out of 228 games. Overall he played 18.5% of the minutes while he was a City player.

Those stats are hard to argue against. Felt like he was frequently injured, but when he was healthy he was such an attacking threat.

19/20 Quarantine 13 days
19/20 Foot injury 30 days

19/20 Hamstring injury 16 days
18/19 Knee injury 153 days
18/19 Meniscus injury 33 days
18/19 Knee injury 69 days
18/19 Knee surgery 68 days
18/19 Foot injury 23 days

Mendy will end up as a flop but watching him play after he first arrived was great. He had serious potential.

He was always a threat to cross from outside and his service was quality
Never got it back after first long injury then it derailed from there

Arsenal playing far too slow and casual in the attacking third so far.

Yellow, but he lunged completely off the ground going into that. Asking for trouble.

Newcastle receiving 3 yellows for that is a bit extreme. I get the refs have to crack it down, but come on man, just give one to Howe for failing to control his players.
