I think that game might have killed the last shreds of my football fandom.

Im already over it. I hate that I don't care as much as i used to. Feel bad for a lot of the players (not boutte..pos) and those who still somehow care. It's just so hard to care as much. Les has made a lot of fans very jaded.

I reserve the right to edit my previous post if Bama shits the bed against USC.

The passion I once had for LSU football has slowly died over the past 10 years. I wonder why.

I think he's staying unless LSU fails to win 10 games.

Shame Arsenal turned down loaning Sanogo to Leeds. Probably would have brought all that joy back.

I hate that LSU and Arsenal are so similar and so miserable to support.

I think I hate the fact I don't care as much anymore more than anything. I know the offense will suck. I know we will have tons of talent go misuse or unutilized. And I have now trained myself to not care as much since I've been burned way too many times buying into the hype.

And this is coming from someone who basically grew up in tiger stadium.

We just need someone on our staff who can develop a competent quarterback. I'm not asking for perfection or someone who will win the heisman. I just want someone who can complete a simple pass and make the right decision more often than not.

This describes my experience to a T. It's a depressing feeling. I've had to completely detach myself from the program. I felt nothing from the loss today. Just a solid "meh." I would love to have that passion back for my tigers like I had when I was a kid. Miles has just totally killed it for me.

It must be terribly frustrating to be an LSU fan. I like LSU because I lived in the state while growing up and I have family history there but I am not a fan per se. If they win, great, if they lose, oh well. College football today is so competitive at the highest levels and you can't expect to win all the time. However, for LSU to have all the talent that it has at its disposal and to play the way that they do a lot of times has to be infuriating for a lover of the school. Their offense has been really bad for a long time now, or at least it seems that way.

LSU needs to go to Texas and recruit a from one of those HS who throw it 40 times a game. A white QB yea I said it.

Really doesn't matter because we will not call plays toward that kids strengths. It's all 5-7 step drops usually off of play action where Harris has to take his eyes away from downfield. Then it's nothing but vertical patterns or deep sideline passes. Nothing over the middle. No crossing routes. No TE. Then you watch a team like Clemson who even though they have the best QB in the country they try to make a lot of the throws easy for him

We call our offense like 10 year old playing madden on easy. Run the best player in the game over and over again and every once in a while chuck it deep

My biggest takeaway from yesterday is that our offensive line sucks. Zero protection for Harris to have time to throw and no push for Fournette. Also, Josh Boutte just became my least favorite LSU player of all time. I hope he never plays a down again.

At this point I'm just rooting for Texas to have a good year so they don't fire Strong and no one can outbid us for Herman.

Yea the line is terrible. Boutte:m/Weathersby havent improved much from last year and we have yao ming trying to play center when he should be further outside.

They just set harris up to fail. If they wanna go iform, get the TEs involved over the middle, dump it off to the fb for those little 4-5 yard gains.
