Germany U21s v. England U21s earlier

Ended predictably

Spain U21s v. Italy U21s on now. Spain has a pretty entertaining team

He and Asensio are ridiculous

Hope neither of them experience any setbacks

Of course it's Saul who scores!

Edit - And it's a brace for Saul! Dude is straight class.

Am I missing something with Spain having 11 players on their roster that are over the age of 21?

ETA: looking at the rest of the squads, that seems to be the case for all the teams in this.

I think if you start the qualifiers under 21 or at 21 then you're eligible to play in the finals or something.

Yeah, the cut off was some time in '94 iirc

Basically, you just need tp be u21 at the start of the cycle, which makes for an interesting tournament

So it's basically what your Olympic squad would be.

Toronto won the Canadian Championship on a super late winner from Giovinco.

Even more interesting, Brian Straus noted on Twitter that Michael Bradley finally got to play and win a cup final.
