The Special One yesterday:

Mourinho also called on the FA to extend its disciplinary clampdown by taking action against serial divers. After a rule change this week, the FA will be able to take retrospective action in all cases of violent conduct from November 22, a regulation that Mourinho believes should also cover diving.

“If because of diving a football result is directly affected, I think the players should be punished,” he said. “I don’t need to speak to my players because they don’t dive. I hate it.

Influential. Heh. Ample space to define this word.

He´s a douchebag, and does nothing, unless it´s of personal gain.

He is without question the top manager in club soccer right now. I'd say some that comes with some pretty heavy influence.

He´s a GREAT manager, no doubt. He´s third, at the most now, however.

That aside, he´s a douchebag, and I get you sticking up for him. I really do.

Who is currently managing that has accomplished what Jose has?

He´s not accomplished anything, for a few years now.

I think the retired Jupp is better, as is Guardiola.

I think Klopp is better as well.

Ancelotti, probably better as well, but probably.

Mourinho es mucho Mourinho, he´s the consummate professional in study and preparation. I admire that.

He´s a petulant and vindictive child, however.

He set the all time Madrid points and goals record less than two years ago.

Mourinho has been a manager for less than 15 years and already won more than Jupp.

quote:

as is Guardiola.

It took Jose two years to surpass Guardiola and the so called greatest team ever run him out of the league and his dream job.

Ancelotti, probably better as well

I like Carlo and his resume is impressive but still not up to Mourinho's standard. If he can win the CL and/or League at Madrid he would have an argument.

Marcos Senna scores the only goal to defeat the ATL Silverbacks in the NASL SOCCER BOWL

Curiously, the Cosmos won after only playing the fall season (Apertura/Clausura-like split)

Of note, Danny Szetela somehow picked up Italian mannerisms during his year in Italy

Lot of this

shite going on
