England @ Ireland kicking off in 30mins

First time England has played in Dublin in 20 years when the match was called off. Over 5k English fans are in Dublin and a whole bunch more without tickets. This might be like when Poland played Ireland with away fans in the home stands.

Some pretty strong challenges so far and that is about it.

Question, under the Ireland logo on the score box there's a little clock that counts seconds (not the game clock)

what is this for?

EDIT- NM, it's another network's score box that ESPN has covered

I can barely watch it. The quality of play is nonexistent. Like zero.

Daryl Murphy played. What the frick did you expect?

Spin-off: How the frick did Daryl Murphy score 25 goals this season in the Championship?

Sporting de Gijón goes down to Seville to play Betis. Betis already returns to the maximum category this coming season, Sporting looks as if they´ll at least play in the promotion playoffs, and can go outright today, if they beat Betis and Girona can´t get by Lugo.

Lech Poznan wins the Polish title by a point.

Sporting Gijon promoted to La Liga after Girona choked in stoppage time against Lugo.

France won the Toulon Tourney.

US got third in the Toulon Tourney after beating England 2-1 through two dodgy penalties. Match was absolutely terrible.

Here's a treasured moment from Joe Hart's past to rescue this.

He seems like such a fake tough guy to me. Same for Kompany. The little pre-game tunnel routine they do has me cringing every time.

Speaking of Kompany, is there a player whose reputation has taken more of a hit than his over the past couple years? People were calling him the best CB in the world not that long ago.

I'm not sure how a guy who does shampoo commercials can even be called a 'fake tough guy'.

The speed and skill parity between the men and women is so vast in some of these teams. Ivory Coast looks a rec team right now. They're giving Germany so much space it's unfathomable.
