This is my 2nd year following soccer and I have a question. The 3rd place team in Champions League group stage moves to the Europa League?

Hoping to see some kind of a different lineup for City today.

Yes. The 8 third-place finishers will go into the Europa League Round of 32.

The best placed 4 will be seeded in that draw while the other 4 will be unseeded.

Nice. I like Delph. He's looked good when he's been healthy, but that's been like five matches

Group B

By the way, here are all the different ways Group B can play out from r/soccer....Will probably tune into one of these.

A) If Besiktas win and Benfica/Napoli draw, Besiktas is 1, Napoli is 2
B) If Besiktas win and Benfica/Napoli win, then the Benfica/Napoli winner is 1 and Besiktas is 2
C) If Besiktas draw and Benfica win, Benfica is 1, Besiktas is 2
D) If Besiktas draw and Napoli win, Napoli is 1, Benfica is 2
E) If Besiktas draw and Benfica/Napoli draw, Napoli is 1, Benfica is 2
F) If Besiktas loses, the winner of Benfica/Napoli is 1 and the loser is 2

Lol especially since Dinho is also banned for the match today.

I wish Aleix was in our UCL squad. I expect to see Maffeo and Tosin though.

Apparently 16 yr old Phil Foden will be in the squad.
Born in Stockport, been with City since he was 5.

Foden is an option as a sub for City.

Roberts is starting for Celtic as well.

I think he'll switch them in the 2nd half at some point since Sergio can't play Sat vs Leicester.

Thank you for the response. I started strickly with the EPL last year and then learned about the Champions League once they were already in the round of 16, it was awesome. This year I expanded into the Europa League as well. Fills my TV schedule!!!

Flip to ESPN3 if you want to watch games that matter. I know why Fox picked what they did, but Group B has the most hanging in the balance. One on TV and one on PC.
