Big difference in having a sponsor and being used as a marketing tool.

Is there really much of a difference?

I mean which symbol is bigger on the Bayern shirt: the Telekom logo or the FC Bayern crest?

Modern football wouldn't be able to exist without the financial backing of corporate sponsors. FC Bayern (and every other super club) would be on level terms with their domestic competition without it being a marketing tool for sponsors. The only difference is that Red Bull decided to run the football operations.

It's really no different than what Wolfsburg does aside from them doing it for like a 100 years. People just think that makes it better for some reason.

I don't think anyone would care if they would just sponsor a team, but people hate the lack of fan ownership/involvement.

Now you are just showing your ignorance and proving you are clueless the whole situation.

Bayer and Wolfsburg were formed as clubs for the workers to play in and be involved. Their members still have a say unlike RB. In 20 years if RB is still involved then the club can be called Red Bull.

The club isn't called Red Bull.

Leipzig put together a great football team, fun to watch (not going their way tonight though...). Sitting in America, that's all I can ask for.

The difference between Bayern and Leipzig is a matter of degree, they both exist in their current form at the behest of their corporate partners

Bayern really showing their class and maturity.

Leipzig will be a good side in the future, probably needed this arse kicking from Bayern TBH. Shows they have a good ways to go.

SOAB wtf is going on in here?

Having to work like crazy all day wrapping things up before holidays and can't watch.

Check on thread expecting usual awesome record of observation about match and instead all I see is shite talk back and forth about fricking red bull and cucks and sponsorships.

I'm assuming Bayern took control and dominated.
