The Falcao loan was just terrible business. Monaco knew he was damaged goods and pulled the wool over United's eyes.

Bale to United?

Since the Madridistas seem to hate him.

I thought he would have done a lot better than he has. The people I thought would be strong in the United attack have been very disappointing.

Doesn't help that Louie is hellbent on fiddling with the roster all the time.

Monkey for Dracula Vampy smashed head looking dude.

Fair trade I think. I just don't see Bale sticking around there and United seems to be the best fit for him. Don't see Bale playing for Chelsea.

does LvG fancy him? Or fancy him enough to sub him in and out of the lineup?

You can never over-exaggerate Carrick's importance to the team. The evidence is in our record this season with him vs. without him.

It felt good to put in a dominant performance against Tottenham. Would have to say it was the best so far of the LvG era. Hope we are turning the corner.

This is a huge week for our CL outlook. Scousers have a tough game at Swansea today (as we know too well) before hosting us this weekend.

I don't think there's any question that Di Maria can be ultra - successful at Utd. We've seen glimpses, but it takes time for some players to acclimate themselves to a new league, lifestyle, language, etc. All that to say, a straight swap for Bale would be an OUTSTANDING piece of business.

Also, Blind at LB is the answer. He was phenomenal.

Always been a HUGE Mata fan.

I think LvG and Mourihno both have it out for him because he's more intelligent than they are, and they like to be the "smartest guy in the room."

Not talking shite but do you think that's even possible?

Feel like RMs ego would get in the way of that. Di Maria to PSG seems more likely and then use the money to get Bale, then again why did that move break down this summer? I don't recall...
