wonder how di maria will feel about getting subbed off at half.
to be honest he deserved it. Paddy has been subbed off at half at least twice this year because he was playing bad. LvG keeping everyone to the same standards.
I really hope di Maria is better next season after he settles in better. Sometimes it takes a season and off-season.

I think he will be fine next year
the physical aspect of the EPL takes some players a season to get used too.

shite like this pisses me off. How can you say Mata hasn't lived up to his price tag? He is still the third leading scorer on the team and he hasn't played in nearly a month!! DiMaria I agree with...he hasn't done shite. I'm not sure what LvG saw in Januzai Saturday that was so remarkable because I didn't see much. Was he better than DiMaria? Absolutely but is that really saying much? Januazai hasn't impressed me since he scored those two goals a year ago at Sunderland. I hate seeing Mata not given the chance and looks like he's gone which I think is a huge mistake...
ETA oh and the rumors that DiMaria is saying that his move to United was a mistake...if true, why don't you STFU & earn your paycheck?! The mistake is United signing you at this point

I've been busy the last week, so I might have missed it. Has he been rumored to say his move to United was a mistake?
FWIW, I think ADM will be fine. We have big games coming hard and fast now, starting Wednesday with Newcastle. He will get plenty of chances to turn around a mediocre run of form. Hopefully it will come now that we need him most. May be next season before we see the best of him though. I agreed with the halftime substitution on Sunday and thought it was a strong move on LVG's part. A move like that will get the attention of all the players at this critical point in the season.

of course they do...it's midfield...is Blind more a defensive mid and Mata offensive, sure but aren't the best 11 players supposed to be on the field? I just want results and goals...

Mata's place in the starting 11 can't be compared to Blind. Mata can't play defensive midfield or left back.

Crucial three points last night
In the end we were the better team. it wasn't pretty but we dominated long stretches of the game.
Both teams had top goalkeeping to get that game close.
I fully expect Evans and Cisse to both get a 3 match ban for that disgusting exchange. Even if Evans didn't spit on him, he still spat in Cisse's direction.
