Potential that Rojo could be out for a good while. Got to buy another CB during the January transfer window. But who?

Hummels
No, seriously, I don't know. We were linked with Garay for forever but let him go to Zenit. Van Gaal has said he likes a left-footed player to play LCB, so I don't know who would be available to fill that role. Tyler Blackett not the answer yet though.

We're lucky that Paddy McNair has come along so well.
Our subs vs city
Paddy McNair
James Wilson
Michael Carrick
City's subs
Nazri
Dzeko
Fernandinho
Says a lot imo. It's crazy how we have less points than last season up until this point but I am 1000x happier and more confident of things getting better.

quote:I was actually very impressed with Wilson's aggressiveness. An 18 y/o in that level of match showing confidence is a nice trait for sure. I hadn't seen him play previously.
James Wilson

That's his game for the most part. Aggressive, pacey and a good finisher. I agree though he came out with great confidence and caused them some problems in the back. He's pretty much the reason Welbz was shown the door so really rooting for this guy to prove himself.

I also like Wilson, and been a big fan of playing Carrick as a CB.

I'm seeing that LVG wants to recall Angelo Henriquez from his loan at Zagreb. He's been scoring for fun in the Croat league.

Also, the FA cleared Fellaini of any wrongdoing over the alleged spitting incident with Aguero.

The Premier League's love affair with Ed Sheeran shows no sign of abating after Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney was caught duetting with the singer-songwriter.
Sheeran was seen riffing with the England captain at an after-party following a gig in Manchester - one which Robin van Persie also rocked up to.
Rooney was sat on stage in a nearby pub alongside the 23-year-old, head wobbling as he tried to keep pace with Lego House in front of a roomful of revellers at the Sir Ralph Abercromby pub near Deansgate.

The boys with their wags at the gala last night
RVP and Smalling are the clear winners here.
Di Maria's wife might weigh more than him.

A shocking video has emerged showing dozens of football hooligans fighting in the street near the Etihad Stadium after Sunday's Manchester derby.
The violence occurred an hour-and-a-half after Manchester City's 1-0 victory when a group of United fans threw bottles and a red smoke flare at Blues fans drinking at The Eastlands Bar.
Some City fans on a terrace at the back of the bar, on Albert Street in Beswick, ran out to confront the United mob with both sides throwing chairs and other missiles.

The rival fans kicked and punched each other, with up to 100 involved, as sickening insults were exchanged.
The clash was captured on a two-minute long video by a City fan and posted on YouTube.
A 48-year-old man, believed to be a City fan, was left with a broken nose, cuts and head injuries after being punched and kicked while on the ground. Paramedics attended but he declined hospital treatment.
Police arrived shortly after the fight and arrested one man using a chair as a weapon. Four others were arrested nearby and all five have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police confirmed the incident happened at 4.45pm, about 90 minutes after the match ended, and that officers attended Stanley Road in Beswick.

Love how McNair is coming along, he looked great yesterday.
I love how LvG is giving the academy guys a run almost every game. He is all on board with Wilson.

Paddy McNair is going to be a good one that is for sure. With our CB issues this season he might just be earning himself a starting spot even wih folks come back.
