Barcelona confirms talks for bravo. Looks like we may steal Coric. Pep is building a damn machine. Lots of youth coming in with some nice complementary signings as well.

I know it has only been 3 matches, but stones has looked great. I was skeptical and wanted Laporte but if Stones keeps this up he'll be well worth it.

I just think the system has been exponentially more balanced this year. Stones has been great in Pep's system though. I'm glad we didn't see Stones under Pelles though.

It has. We're playing more cohesively and focused, kinda like Peller's first season. Stones has been, IMO, our best defender so far though...and he's only been here what, two weeks? I think we finally found our CB.

Probably, but he's the only one to play every match. He was also the main person at fault for the Defoe goal. I just really think the system is making everyone look better. They're playing 5 at the back at times when Fernandinho drops back. You also have the attacking players putting pressure on the ball making it difficult to pick out passes, and the 2 fullbacks in the middle to pick up the outlet passes. Plus Caballero comes up for through balls as the sweeper. This has all taken a ton of pressure off the CBs. Which is a direct contrast to the past 3 years when ALL the pressure was on the 2 CBs defensively because Hart was staying deep and the other 8 players were all in the attacking third.

Bravo has landed in Manchester.

Also, apparently Hart is staying.

is willy staying too? if hart would buy in to the system and learn from pep/bravo, it would be nice to have two solid keepers. if not, i'm sure willy would be fine in resuming his back up duties.

Remember that Jerome Boateng turned into an animal during his time with Pep. I said it before but I think Stones is going to work out really well for City

I've never doubted stones. He's going to be great under Pep. It's early but just what he's done with Kolarov has me impressed. He's maximizing the talent in interesting ways. I love it.

I was okay with Hart maybe leaving, but after yesterday I hope he stays and fights for his spot. I don't want him to leave.

This CL group draw is insane. City will still probably get through, but damn...

Yup. We should beat Monchengladbach and Celtic in both ties.

This is where we see where we really sit amongst Europe's elite. I truly expect to come away with more than 12 points at the least.
