So that was bad. I didn't expect to leave with 3 but I certainly didn't expect to get worked like that.

That 2nd goal was just piss poor work by Mangala. That was horrible. shite pass and then left his man unmarked and didn't do much to help Otamendi. I was at work so I missed a bit here and there BUT it looked like KDB had an open man to his left on that close shot he took. He usually makes the pass so I can't knock him too much for that. ETA: just looked and he had Silva and, to a lesser extent, Kun. Kun wasn't totally open but with a good pass he takes a shot and I would like his chances there.

We seriously need Clichy to get some minutes. Kolarov just hasn't cut it lately. He's good for a rocket cross but he's nowhere near Clichy in terms of defending. Toure looked absolutely gassed around the 60' mark but turned it up big time the last 15 minutes or so. I'm really starting to question starting him. The 2 Ferns have looked good when paired together. Dinho didn't have a good game but he was due.

toure's game now consists entirely of 95% half-assed effort and 5% brilliance.

The crazy part is nobody can recreate that 5%. He's brilliant when he gives effort but he just lollygags around for majority of the game.

Not happy about losing George Evans. Wish it was a loan.

I'm glad he got a couple fist team appearances before he left, but he's 21 (same age as Sterling) - if was going to have the ability to push for the 1st team he'd of done so by now.
If he's a late bloomer, they can always buy him back.

No dog in the BPL fight but I'm rooting for Man City this year.

Supporting my boys. Aguero, Otamendi, Demichelis. I want them to do well.

ETA: Forgot about Zabaleta.

Looks like a 433, but it'll be interesting to see how they line up.

Great result today.

Got some help on a bad call, but so did Everton in their last two matches against us so I don't feel near as dirty about it.

Praying to God that KDB isn't out eight months.

I thought Pellegrini did a good job making early changes. If only he was that proactive all the time.

There was also a lot of time left, and City were dominating the second half. It's likely they still get that goal.

If City hire Pep, I would love Pelligrini to be Wenger's replacement. Plays the game the way it should be played, urbane and suave and just a good guy.

Pellegrini and Wenger really are a lot alike. Pellegrini is both awfully wonderful and awfully frustrating, but I think a lot of City fans will eventually miss the stability he brings to the side.

A hyperflexion injury like that means he possibly tore the PCL. If it's any consolation, when Dempsey tore his one year he was back before the end of the season, and he did it early after Christmas I think. Don't quote me on that though.

He did well today but he is pretty poor at subs most of the time.

Eh....idk. I love Pellers. The man just oozes class. BUIT he can be incredibly naive tactically. He is JUST now starting to mix up the lineup after we hit a terrible run of form. Hell, even during his title run he made some questionable decisions.

As for stability, it is 50/50. The way he handles things as a manager is awesome. The man makes it a point to teach players not to campaign for calls. Like I said, he just oozes class and I love it.

The flip side is that he is stubborn as frick at times, especially this season. He chose Navas over Nasri when Nasri was fit. He will wait entirely too long to sub a poorly-performing player. He doesn't mix things up in the lineup much.

Before the season I said the only manager I would take over him is Pep and I still stand by that. Not saying Pellers is #2 behind Pep but he is a great fit for City.
