We need to try and keep this thread at the top of the board. Make the serial downvoter have to look at "Manchester City" and constantly be reminded that their club is not at the top of the table.

International roundup: Hart, sterling, and delph for England; de Bruyne, Kompany, and Denayer for Belgium; Aguero, Demichelis, and Otamendi for Argentina; Sagna and Mangala for France; Kolarov for Serbia; Fernandinho for brazil; Bony for Ivory Coast; Silva for Spain. Hopefully they all keep their form up over the international break and stay healthy.

The way other clubs have handled the last few days of the transfer window is making Txiki look like a genius.

And here I was getting frustrated with him in early July It is now pretty clear what happened. We had a couple of targets (Sterling, Pogba, KDB) and went for them. Otamendi was out of the blue, seemingly brought on by the Stuttgart friendly. I'm cool with it though. We didn't panic buy. We didn't have another "Summer of Sinclair" where we bought guys to fill a hole or two. We went for clear squad upgrades. Aside from the EDS/young talent loan guys we signed the ONLY one that looks to be a "depth signing" is Delph. The other 3 will contribute big minutes this year.

Relaxed. I figured it would be hectic with the KDB deal but that wrapped up early so I just got to watch the rest of the shite show.

Stuart Brennan is reporting that Kelechi isn't in the UCL squad and because he hasn't been at the club for two whole years he can't be included in the B list for his age.

I'm looking at the roster now. Did City fill all of the spots? It would be difficult to select him or Patrick Roberts over the guys listed.

They're all filled. I was just thinking that due to his age he wouldn't count, but I wasn't aware of that rule.

Yeah, that's the rule for Champions League. If you're under 21, you have to be with the club for two whole seasons to be able to play without registering.

You've obviously never played Football Manager.

Lol I have not. I've been reading about it for years though, definitely more a FIFA guy.
