Manchester Choke weekend - both teams should be ashamed.

United and City have a 1 point difference for 4th place and they both draw vs 2 likely-relegated teams.
Wow
Wow

Clubs in the relegation battle at this stage often put up a better fight than they would in say December or something.

New Castle last year, I believe they got a point in all of their last 6 or 7 matches.

Great point, but you would also think teams in the champ league battle would be up for the task as well. Your point well-taken though.

United result not that surprising, they lead the league in draws, 41% of their league games have ended that way . Jose ball

You're right in that they both should have done better, but it's still somewhat of a mitigating circumstance

Liverpool - "hold my beer"
yep exactly what I said yesterday in the match thread. Liverpool might out do us all.
United blew a prime chance to jump to 3rd. O well just adds to more drama.

As oppose to Pep's sideways passing all match not breaking down the other team. Reminds me of something I saw last year.
Or Liverpool's complete disregard for defending but then pay Lovern 100k a week

Jose is just collecting a paycheck now and Pep is being exposed for the fraud he has always been. Liverpool just i just continuing their decade plus long spell of irrelevance.
It's good to be the King.

Don't get us started.
Mick - have that edit post button at the ready - you may need to add 'Pool to the list later this afternoon.
Maybe none of them want Europe so that they can focus on the league with 14 players like Chelsea has been able to do this year.

United isn't afraid to park the bus and has arguably the best keeper in the world. If you're going to say Liverpool has a complete disregard for defending then you could say MU have a complete disregard for attacking, considering Liverpool is ahead in the table and goal differential. It's going to be interesting to see where united land in the table next year when De Gea isn't bailing them out

We have parked the bus twice in big time games at the end to grind out the point. DDG has been good but not lights out in years past and we still the second best goals against. Bc we defend properly. Keep the wishful thinking DDG is gone next year and act like we wouldn't replace him with another top GK.

Liverpool did the same this year and is barley hanging on to 3rd

You think Willian will end up at ManU?
Posted on 5/1/17 at 11:29 am to RandySavage
probably not
we need to worry about a replacement for Carrick

Didn't Sunderland have a crazy arse survival story a few years ago?
