If anything positive has come of this, it's the Twitter jokes. Absolute gold.

Also, if any part off ever wanted to see Torres in a red shirt again. It ended today... Absolutely invisible..

Can you blame him? Guys are getting eaten by zombies on the other end and you look at Agger and there is no telling what kind of prison weapon that guy has. I mean it is possible that if a player is enjoying and Ivanovic buffet on one end that another may stab you inside your attacking third? Actually I'm just kidding, he was shite.

So many jokes I don't even know where to begin

I see someone noticed the pun!
But seriously this is no more morally reprehensible than Cantona's Kung Fu kick, or David Luiz's elbows, or Defoe biting Mascherano, or all of Roy Kean's tackles and close to all of Shawcross'. In all those cases the players stayed.
Luis should get a hefty fine and will probably see disciplinary action from the FA. But that should be it.

Say huh? SUAREZ BIT SOMEONE. THINK ABOUT THAT.....A GROWN MAN BIT ANOTHER MAN DURING A SPORTING EVENT. Mike Tyson style brah.
ETA:If you are OK with that guy putting on a Pool kit then you are just as bad as he is. Why would you want that guy to represent your club?

Dude, he bit a player. He had to go out of his way to bite him. It's not at all like a tackle or an elbow, which happens in every game.
He bit the guy's arm. You aren't supposed to do anything with your mouth in a game, unlike your elbows and legs.

Yeah, those are bad comparisons. Defoe's bite and Cantona's Mortal Kombat fatality are the only ones that really compare.
It's one thing to be known as a bad tackler or a physical player, it's another thing entirely to bite someone.

My point exactly.

To be honest, I dont think you have to look past earlier this week with what Sergio Aguero did to David Luiz... he was not going after the ball, his sole intent was to hurt Luiz and he jumped in the air and came down on him with two feet... out of frustration and anger.. just didnt catch him that good are they would still be talking about it...
Again, It doesn't excuse it and I realize if this was a one off it probably wouldn't be as bad... I think he should be done for the season...

Yea, that situation is also similar in the fact that the sole intent was to cause harm to the opposing player.
Huth's tackle is also similar in that regard, although biting possesses a much more negative connotation than those two events. It will be interesting to see what the FA does.

So, what do you think is a reasonable punishment?
FA... 3-4 games. I think the rest of the season is fair.
As far as the club, whatever fine they feel is necessary, plus I think he should receive mandatory anger management counseling (or whatever would be proper in this case, I'm not a psychologist)...
The more I've had time to think, I still think we'd be crazy to sell the best player in the league (and i dodnt want him gone, he's an absolute joy to watch)... However, its not my club, so I'll have to live with what FSG decides... though Luis may feel its time to get out of dodge, too...
