This is bigger than any of the stickied threads. This is our nation's future we're talking about here.

From SB Nation:

According to The Telegraph, Liverpool have made an £11 million bid for U.S. international midfielder Christian Pulisic.

Ever since Pulisic was left out of the Borussia Dortmund squad for the German Super Cup, there have been rumors about a potential departure from Dortmund. Pulisic did make the gameday roster for Dortmund's DFB Pokal match against Eintracht Trier last week, however he didn't play a single minute.

Just a few days ago, Pulisic was reportedly the subject of a €20 million bid from Stoke City. The bid was never actually made according to Grant Wahl, but he did report that a 15 million euro bid from RB Leipzig could be coming. Despite both Pulisic and his father stating that he has no intent to leave Dortmund, speculation has persisted.

A move to Liverpool would make a lot of sense for Pulisic as it would reunite him with former Borussia Dortmund coach Jurgen Klopp. Pulisic never appeared for the first team under Klopp, but was an academy star during Klopp's tenure and was signed by the German.

While Klopp is undoubtedly a talented manager, it is unclear whether Pulisic would be able to break into the Liverpool starting XI. Liverpool already has experienced attacking midfielders and wingers in Philippe Coutinho, Sadio Mane, Adam Lallana, and Georginio Wijnaldum.

It remains to be seen whether Pulisic will leave Borussia Dortmund, either on loan or permanently, however it is apparent that many clubs are interested in his services.

I want him to get PT, and I don't know if that's possible right now at Pool.

Our lifelong Red Bull fans could have something to celebrate soon, though...

It's in our thread

He wouldn't be first choice, but Klopp really likes him apparently. He would probably make it on the bench pretty consistently I'd bet

I'd prefer to see him go on loan to a Bundesliga team than leave permanently so soon. Getting playing time with Dortmund will be tough, though.

From what I saw today, Bremen could use him.

I'd rather he sign with the New York Cosmos than Liverpool.

Bremen is not a good candidate for his development, IMO. They're a pretty lifeless squad, especially if today is an indication of how they'll play. How do you not even put pressure on the best players in the world? What kind of coach thinks "here's a team that's going to start 11 world class players, we should just keep backpedaling until we get in our own 18"

I understand being defensive but Bremen were defensive, lifeless, lazy, etc. ArJo at one point threw his hands in the air because he tracked back, won a ball, and then laid it off but the intended recipient stood there and waited for the pass and it was easily intercepted.

I would prefer he go on loan to a bundesliga team that will play him consistently.

ESPN FC is saying that BVB will "resist all attempts" on Pulisic. I'm going to be a little salty if he is moved though, for no other reason than I got his jersey like a week ago.

While probably true, it should be noted that Barrett and Pearce (about as trustworthy as you can get with ITK journos) both said Klopp is determined to have the kid and has always rated him incredibly highly. I could see him replacing Lallana sooner rather than later.

Hope he goes somewhere else. I want him starting every single game.
