I wish there was an MLS break as well as an international one.
Also, it would be so much more meaningful if Arena was on the sidelines, but at least we get his galaxy send off for that. Beasley's text to Landon about trying to get there was nice. It would've him and great to see Beasley, Howard, Bradley, Dempsey and others who play with Landon there.
Jurgen's timing is insulting, but I guess that is par for the course for him. It is still a fricking shame he made the most bone headed move ever cause someone needed a mental health break and may have been dealing with depression. It was Ignorant and shortsighted on Klinsmann's part, but again, par for the course.

I agree about the mental health part, but MLS doesn't follow the international calendar like they should.

I wI'll never care about another player the way I have with Landon Donovan. As I get older I don't view players in the same way. But with cakes, I felt like he was equal parts a friend, superstar and hero in the biggest moments. I am truly sad for myself, in the most selfish way, that I won't get to watch him play anymore.
