Lalas is actually a huge, huge fan of Landon. He was butthurt (like any USMNT fan with a brain) when Landon got dropped from the roster. He is anti-Jurgen and despises the process and questionable tactics.
Lalas lays the "boom" on someone every so often. We have this type of thread a couple times a year referring to a Lalas tweet. At the end of the day, Lalas is doing his job.
You can disagree all you want, but I am probably the one here who has ever talked with Lalas for an extended period of time about Jurgen, the Landon situation, and the USMNT.

What is bs? I was in Brazil, and I was lucky enough to be in the exact same Marriott on Copacabana Beach as ESPN. There was a lounge on the 9th floor with incredible food and Lalas spent a lot of time there since he was living from a hotel for a month.
It was awesome to meet him, and I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. I was surprised that we agreed on just about everything. Obviously, my hatred is more extreme, but he is absolutely in camp Donovan.
