If we are struggling after the first round of qualifying, he has to go.

Can we give a passport to someone that can take corners and free kicks?

I think Klinsmann fatigue is really starting to set in. His shittalking was bearable because we were getting results. Then Landon happened. Then an OK WC happened. Then the Gold Cup happened.

I don't want his head on a spike or anything but he's getting tiresome.

Agreed. The results need to start happening or I will be firmly in the anti-Jurgen camp, and I have been one of his bigger defenders on here.

Its proven all around youth soccer the stupidity b/c many parents think that if you have a foreign accent you must know what you are talking about when it comes to soccer.

This hits the nail on the head for me. I'm just getting sick of it. Defended him for a long time, but Jesus Christ its old now.

Ha, yea I'd love to hear him answer that question. I guess he kinda did with the weak "2 set piece blah blah blah" but whatever.

Also, the fact he called that "our best game" pretty much says it all. As others have said, result aside, we were absolutely terrible. Sad thing he's probably right about it being our best game. That's how bad the rest of the tournament was.

He called in Jermaine Jones to serve as CAPTAIN for a January friendly, after he was suspended from Schalke for a month for stomping on Marco Reus. Yet he strips Clint Dempsey of the captaincy after Dempsey had a hissy fit with an incompetent referee during a US Open Cup game. This is on top of openly criticizing certain players' form or desire or fitness,
OK, I cannot argue with this.

Yeah same here. I liked the hire. I bought the "vision". I liked the active recruiting he did. I just am growing tired of what he says. Everything he says sounds like a damn excuse. Even IF he's right and the US fan base is stupid, he lost to Jamaica. His excuse is "well nobody really understands why and well...refs". Nut up to it and admit we lost a game we shouldn't have.

The man could spill milk while pouring cereal and he would still say, "well the bowls we have here...just too round. They don't work right."

And all the fans know that the bowl for toddlers that is super hard to spill things from would be a better choice for Jurgen, but Jurgen claims that the toddler bowl is just a "little bit behind some other bowls" and that "the other bowls are just a little sharper, and do a better job of being a giver, and really expressing themselves at the breakfast table."

He is German. Germans tend to have a no bullshite kind of attitude. He isn't totally wrong about the MLS or the fans in this country.

Germans really have no filter, so he probably doesn't think him being straight to the point isn't wrong at all.

But he should be sacked because he is a terrible manager of talent.

nah but he needs to stop fricking around tactically and stick with something.

Think he's mostly being criticized because people disagree with his opinions, not because he was blunt.

Isn't this the same guy who called for US fans to be more critical? Now people are shitting on the team for playing like garbage, and he's falling over himself trying to offer excuses.

His problem is that he never arrives at the point. He tries to be the sassy German in these pressers but all he does is make excuses and blame others for his shortcomings, which is more American than German, all the while contradicting himself every time he opens his mouth. It's completely ridiculous to say but I don't think it's possible that he's watching his players play. There's no way he watches Joe Corona and Benny Feilhaber and then chooses Corona. There's no way he watches Sebastian Lletget and says "meh." I don't know if it's a product of being lazy or arrogance but I think most people are getting tired of it.

Dear @J_Klinsmann,

To make things more like Europe from a coaching perspective, if you lose against Mexico, you should get fired.

What does this even mean? He says things that mean absolutely nothing. Of course the players understand the importance of this game. Does Joe Corona keep getting called up because he has a nice personality?

He has some smart coaches working for him, when do they get tired of it? If my job depended on results and you're constantly giving me half the resources I need to work with, I'm probably going to set your office on fire.
