I'm not a soccer expert like some of you, but wondering why Green wasn't on Gold Cup roster?

He just got done playing with the U-23s. Needs the rest and time to work out his club situation.

Because, in reality, he's not ready for international competitions.

In fact, he didn't even get many minutes on loan to Hamburg last season. If my math is right, he's only played in 8 matches since his appearance in the World Cup against Belgium... he's just not there yet.

Can I ask why Bedoya isn't playing?

Pretty sure Nantes asked a favor. Jurgen probably thinks he isn't needed to win this tournament. He had a knee injury.

Also would love to see my boy Brek Shea on this roster.

If he's playing regularly somewhere, maybe.

That's three years down the road, and the last World Cup cycle taught us that NOBODY has a guaranteed spot.

Well - maybe Julian Green does, but that might have only been for 2014.
