St. Pauls scored early with a header of a deflection, and stifled Jesuits offense the whole first half, 15 minutes into the second Jesuit scores of off an Evan Krammer(#28 JR) corner kick. Jesuit had a shot bounce off the crossbar with a couple minutes left. Go into extra time 1-1, and no one scores in the first 10. 6 minutes into the second 10 Jesuit again scores off of an Evan Krammer(#28 JR) Corner. Jesuit got a break started by Chase Rushing(#39 FR) who got the ball to Mason Belle(#4 SR) who passed it off to Jordan Rice (#11 SR) who put it 6in. above the crossbar with no goalie in the net just one defender. St. Pauls couldn't get anything and the ref blew the whistle ending the game at 2-1 Jesuit.

No mention of the horrendous no call on the St. Paul's player getting pulled down in the box in the second period of extra time? Ref was five feet away. I hope he knows he ruined an otherwise good game.

yea those refs were terrible that should have been a PK, but the refs wouldn't call a penalty on St Paul at all.

I suspect the ref thought the St. Paul player took a dive, as I did.

i was in the 5th row of the student section, so i really couldn't see but everyone thought it was going to be a PK. Those refs were horrible, but we won

I thought about that but there were plenty of opportunities for players on both teams to dive in the box during the game yet they never did. My point is, I thought the idea of diving didn't cross the minds of the players on both teams.

St Paul's was diving quite often an i believe it bit them back there. you reap what you sew. Additionally since SP couldn't do a thing to stop Jesuit from 85% possession, their entire team magically starts cramping with no extra time added...Its not like this game was played in august. Or we could talk about the no call indirect kick when SP defender passed back to keeper who handled it 10 yds out.

There always are no calls and bad calls for both teams. Jesuit absolutely dominated possession and had much greater skill level tonight. I think te better team won.

yea the cramping was bull crap and the indirect kick infuriated me so much because it felt like the refs were calling the game for St Pauls

High School Soccer is a winter sport in Louisiana?

Is it big and does one part of the state play a better brand than others?
