Daughter has jacked up ankles and she's in need of the perfect ankle brace. I bought her these:

Are there better or should this work?

What did she do to her ankles? I had some ankle/foot problems my senior year and the most effective solution was getting it taped before each game. Limited mobility a bit but still gave me enough room as to not hinder my touch.

Weak ankles prone to injury and swelling causing her to miss games.
Taping hasn't helped. She is aware of the mobility issues with these but wants to try them

Was wearing one of those when I tore three ligaments in my ankle and missed my entire senior season of basketball.
I'd recommend tape AND a brace.

Thats the brace I used throughout my playing days. Didnt really hinder my touch too much and gave a lot of extra support striking the ball and going in on challenges so I would stick with those

Thanks. This has been a big help

She needs to strengthen her ankles then, not let them atrophy even more in a cast. See a PT.

As someone who suffered from constant ankle injuries, this is the correct answer.

But for now, the two Mueller braces posted are great.

I was told by my orthopedist that the Rocket Sock (in the OP) was intended to be as temporary as possible and not something to play in repeatedly - all a heavy brace like that does is weaken the support structure, making injuries more likely in the future. That's without even discussing playing soccer without being able to bend your foot.
I agree with the other posters - she needs to work on strengthening her ankles or this problem won't go away.
If she feels she needs some sort of support, I suggest a neoprene sleeve under the ankle guard part of the shinguard.

I actually rocked the ankle guard as a center back. I got tired of taking huge kicks to my ankles.

As someone has already said, start her on PT. They make really good elastic bands that she can use to strengthen her ankles. I'm sure there's also other techniques that work really well but I'm just not aware of them.
Also, I tore the outside ligaments in my left ankle while playing college ball, and wore the same ASO braces you posted. It limited my mobility in that ankle and was bulky to wear, but I never injured that ankle again. It was uncomfortable at times and she'll have to play trial and error with the tightness, but I still wear it when I lace up to not get injured.
Hope they work as well for her as they did for me. Again, do that PT so maybe she won't have to wear them in the future

I've always worn the smallest I could find, which have typically been Nike J-Guards in size XS. They're 5 inches long and my shins and ankles are knobby as hell and always some shade of purple but I hate guards.

What's funny, numb nuts?
I'm working off the assumption that she's not using multiple-piece shin guards like these:
