I recently moved to New Orleans from London and I'm incredibly impressed by the knowledge the soccer (I keep trying to say football) fans have here. The knowledge of European football is particularly impressive.

I think this might be an alter. He posted a thread on the OT inquiring about the location of a good haberdashery. He seems a little too British.

A real chav gent would ask about where he can get a Burberry baseball cap and some adidas tracksuits.

I was lucky enough to be able to go see Millwall vs. Leeds last season at the Den and it was incredible. Their supporters are crazy and we had fortunately (or unfortunately) gotten tickets right between the Leeds and Millwall fans, would have been very scary if not for the hundreds of police in riot gear in betweeen the two groups.

Are there any Millwall fans on the board? I have tried to keep up with their results as much as possible since I saw them, they will always have a special place in my heart. Would definitely reccomend to anybody who makes a trip to London to try to catch a game, tickets were cheap, atmosphere was crazy and it was quite an exciting game actually, got to even see Eric Lichaj play for Leeds which was very cool.

Anyways, rant over, welcome to the board applegate!

the leeds/millwall playoff matches about 3 seasons ago were very heated in terms of the fans going at it.

Welcome!

You need to come to Finn McCool's pub in mid city for weekend matches. Lots of ex pats and a big loyal football following. A good many posters on this board are regulars there every week.

Why would anyone want to be a chav?

Fulham is my club.
