There’s a very good chance we miss the World Cup again. It’s going to be a bloodbath for third.

God he sucks.

ETA: My bad guys, we’re going to stroll through qualifying.

I think results at any of the away locations is pretty fricking good in this group IMO

Should we go back to threads from 2016-17 and see how many laughed at the thought we’d miss the World Cup?

Lol at letting a bunch of fluke wins in nations league and gold cup making you forget how much Greg sucks.

But yeah getting outplayed by El Salvador, the worst team in qualifying, is nothing to worry about. Even though the ways we sucked have been recurring through Greg’s tenure.

Is that supposed to be a good thing? Is a tie at El Salvador better than a home loss to Mexico?

That’s really trying to glass half full it.

Serious question, is this the first time you've watched World Cup Qualifying?

Also yes, a home loss to Mexico at home is way worse than a draw at El Salvador.

No it’s not. Getting outplayed by El Salvador on the road is not the sign of a smooth qualifying.

Bruh, we'll never confuse Gregg with Marcello Lippi but I won't even go that far with that bold take

The cognitive dissonance in this thread is hilarious. Reminds me of threads in pels talk after 4-5 games when it’s obvious we suck and everyone makes absurd and flimsy excuses.

Yeah... with you leading the charge.

You want to bet $1,000?

You pay me if the US advances to the World Cup with Gregg as coach, I pay you if we don't qualify... deal?

Honest question:
First time you’ve followed qualifying?
Formula is one point on road, three points at home.

Plus, with the expanded field of teams qualifying for WC, its almost impossible to miss out on.

Meh, I'm not sure about that.

There's more teams in the final round, but not more World Cup spots.

It's still 3.5

Absurd thread

Even a majority of the Gregg haters and doubters think we will qualify with him as the manager

That’s basically a nonnegotiable for any US manager

It’s the basic standard
