Wikipedia is your best source. Just search for the "Barclay's Premier League on there and there are links for each of the current clubs on that page. Start going through them one by one to see if anything jumps out at you. Then watch a good deal of matches.

When normal factors aren't an option like this, I always look at fanbases and playstyle. Are the fans the type of people I'd fit in with and do they play a style of soccer that I'd pay to watch?

nah its mainly the Liverpool fans
outside of Bleed,Beast,TFTC and Zaba. A few other good ones but the rest are unbearable.

AC Milan is actually the worst of the bunch based on domestic play. Of course, they still fared decently in the UCL.

As a long time Milan fan there is no glory right now and it will be a long time the way the management is working.
I rate their European history every bit as great as Reals. 5 of their trophys were in black and before anyone noticed. Sucks a Milan great took them to the top again.

I am not questioning AC Milan's history in the slightest. They are one of the most decorated clubs in Europe. I was just saying that they are down right now.

I'm going to try to jump on the Swansea bandwagon this year and see how that works. They were effectively the first EPL team that I heard of that wasn't one of the powerhouses and they play a Dutch team regularly that I'll be following this year as well.
