Also, it seems like S is able to deal with Championship struggles by referencing obscure players on midtable teams from the PL circa 2002.

There are some great little grounds in the Championship. The Valley, Hillsboro, Elland Road. And if you want to go down even further, The Den and whatever Blackpool's ground is called.

In my most humble opinion, the Championship is one of the most competitive and volatile leagues in the world. NFL...."any given Sunday...parity...." blah, blah blah. In the Championship it's absolutely-freaking-true. With matches on the weekend, and again midweek, your club slides for two weeks and relegation zone, here you come.
Have a good two weeks, and you're safely upper mid-table.
The quality of officiating is crap. I wouldn't wish Championship refereeing on Chelsea, Man.Utd., Liverpool, Ole Miss, the Gumps, or anyone else I may or may not hate. It's truly horrible and badly affects matches.
Oh, and everyone hates Leeds United.
That's what they say, anyway.
