Just last year he missed a penalty that cost Napoli the Champions League. He's notorious for missing sitters, but he's killing it in Serie A this season.

He's always been a prolific and efficient league scorer; never great in big games. He also doesn't do much off the ball or to set up other teammates.

His passing is a lot better than I had thought. I'd rate him very highly among true #9s as far as passing in build up play.

He does seem prone to miss sitters in the highest profile matches and moments but he's absolutely tireless in working to get into scoring spaces.

His worst trait is his incessant and particularly annoying bitching about team mates not making the right or accurate pass to play him in.

He used to be prone to dragging the ball from the sideline (ala Costa, but was much worse than Costa on the ball and never looked to pass, which Costa at least did), which incensed RM faithful, I'm guessing he's learned not to do so.....

ETA yes, I know Costa is shite on the ball in open play, but can lay it off....

I'll never forgive him for missing in the WC Final.
