After SCH posted his own thread about schwieni I figured it was open season for big clubs signees having their own thread...

Really though this is about Cameron. Does glen slide ahead of him? Does Cameron become the jack of all positions like for the national team? I'm really hoping he won't see a drop in pt.

I don't think glen was signed with a backup role in mind. So I'm pretty concerned about Camerons place.

N'Zonzi is gone and they bring in a right back. I think this means he plays more midfield which I am totally ok with.

I was thinking the same thing.

I would file this thread under "significant for USMNT" instead of "big club".

It was a joke. Neither a big club nor a big player... Thought that was obvious.

Though they did beat us 6-1 to end the year so they seem big enough to me.

That would definitely be ok - we are building some depth at cb and outside back but could use a good cdm of epl quality.

I think Cameron is our future at the defensive mid position. He needs reps there for club though.

Glen Johnson will prob start, to which Stoke will realize how shite he actually is, then Cameron will resume playing
