Could have been said about any of the semi-finalists. All anyone will remember is 7-1 though much like Spain at the Euros in 2012. They were boring crap all tournament then beat the piss out of 9 man Italy in the final and everyone went crazy.

Today makes it more impressive. Plus, they dismantled Portugal and looked strong against France. It is not like Spain 2010 domination, but Germany has scored 17 goals in 6 matches (of course 11 in two slaughters). Germany's +13 GD is impressive. It would be a better run than Argentina and probably Holland (because 5-1 over Spain is impressive).

I know you are downplaying Germany and before tonight people may have agreed, but they are deserving.

What about it? I'm still not all that impressed. Brazil looked awful starting at minute 7 of the match. Columbus Crew probably could've dropped 3 on Brazil today.
